The legislative body of the city shall be the city council. The city council shall consist of five members or such other number as may be required by Utah State law. The city council together with the mayor shall constitute the governing body of the city. The city council shall meet each first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Lindon City offices, 100 North State Street, Lindon, Utah. In the absence of other provisions therefor by resolution, if a meeting shall be held on the next business day following, and adjourned meetings shall be held from time to time as circumstances may require. The mayor or any two council members may call special meetings by issuing a written notice to each member of the city council and the mayor, served personally or left at the member’s or mayor’s usual place of residence, and no business shall be transacted at any special meeting except that stated in the notice thereof, unless all council members are present and unanimously consent thereto.
