A residential care facility for elderly persons shall comply with the requirement of this chapter, except individual assessments under Section 5.42.100 are not required. However, an applicant shall still be required to provide the required notarized statement affirming the facility does not accept any residents that would pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the facility or community or who in the past have posed a threat to the health and safety of others or whose tenancy would likely create a risk of substantial physical damage to others.
