This chapter is established to provide regulations for short-term rentals (STRs) in residential zones. Regulations and restrictions imposed by this chapter are in recognition of the premise that a short-term rental provides commercial lodging in residential zones for a transient population. The residential short-term rental regulations are provided to protect the safety and general welfare of Lindon City residents and preserve the residential character of city neighborhoods.
