The community has elected to adopt best available data, defined in Section 17.62.060, Lands to which this chapter applies, to regulate floodplain development in addition to utilizing the effective flood insurance rate maps (FIRMs), flood insurance study (FIS), and/or flood boundary and floodway map (FBFM). Where best available data contradicts the FIRMs, FIS, and/or the FBFM, the more restrictive data shall be utilized. (Ord. 2020-7 §1, amended, 2020)
