Interments or exhumations shall not be allowed on any city observed holiday or on Sundays, or on Memorial Day weekend beginning on the Saturday preceding Memorial Day through Memorial Day; provided, however, that a burial may be permitted on any of the days described above if the deceased died of a contagious disease.
