Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than fifty dollars ($50.00) or by imprisonment in the city or county jail for not more than 30 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
